Teal and Iron Brushstroke Trinket Jar [Second]
This small trinket jar is thrown on the wheel in a closed form using a lightly speckled stoneware clay, then trimmed to create a nice and snug-fitting lid. I’ve glazed it using my Recycleware glaze, a light teal, and finished the pot with quick brushstrokes of iron oxide wash, which have turned metallic where the wash is thicker.
There is a small (but symmetric and sort of nice!) crack on the inside of the lid of this jar, making this pot a second.
This jar measures 6.5 cm by 7.25 cm with the lid on, and the jar without the lid is 5 cm tall and 6.5 cm wide.

*please note that the iron wash naturally has produced some small pinholing - these should be considered an effect of the wash, not a defect
