This small trinket jar is thrown on the wheel in a closed form using a lightly speckled stoneware clay, then trimmed to create a nice and snug-fitting lid. I’ve glazed it using my deep teal on the inside and outside of the lid, with ivory on the bottom. The two parts are connected using a thick line of iron oxide wash.
This jar measures 8 cm by 7 cm with the lid on, and the jar without the lid is 4 cm tall and 7 cm wide.

*please note that the iron wash naturally has produced some small pinholing - these should be considered an effect of the wash, not a defect
