This small coffee cup is thrown on the wheel with a heavily speckled stoneware clay, and then slipped with a matcha green coloured white stoneware before the first firing. I finished this mug with a coat of shiny transparent glaze, and expressive striped brushstrokes of iron oxide wash for contrast.
