This small vase is wheel thrown using a light stoneware clay and finished with two handles to make a classic ceramic shape. I have applied a wash of iron oxide onto the glaze to create an expressionist dotted pattern along the shoulder of the pot, and added two light sweeps of iron under each handle. Glazed in a demi-matte waterproof glaze so it’s ready to hold bunches of peonies. Hand signed at the base.
