This small trinket jar is thrown on the wheel in a closed form using a speckled stoneware clay, then trimmed to create a nice and snug-fitting lid. It was glazed in a sheer dip of ivory demi-matte glaze and finished with expressive brushstrokes of a cobalt oxide wash with small drips on some strokes.
