This small bud vase is wheel thrown using a lightly flecked stoneware clay and finished with a wash of iron oxide. I have hand-painted a brushstroke pattern using this wash for a modern and expressionistic throwback to Albertan and Kentish stoneware pottery. The pot is finished in a shiny transparent glaze, making it water proof to hold your bunches of wildflowers! Hand signed at the base.
