This mug is wheel thrown using a buff stoneware and decorated with a sheer wash of chartreuse stoneware slip with brushstroke patterns allowing the clay colour to be seen below. I have hand-carved a small wheat motif pattern into the belly of the mug. This mug is glazed in a shiny clear glaze and is dishwasher safe. It features my favourite mug shape for milky hot drinks, designed to keep drinks warm with a round shape. Made in Margate, U.K.
